What is IDD therapy?
Intervertebral Differential Dynamics (or IDD therapy) is a treatment that targets specific spinal discs to relieve pressure and gently restore mobility. IDD is used as a non-surgical and non-medication treatment to relieve multiple conditions and was developed in the USA.
At Bolton Spinal Health we use IDD for the more severe cases of back or neck pain that we see particularly those that involve nerve root irritation. These can be cases that have not responded to manual treatment or to medications. IDD has a record of reducing the need for surgery.
Conditions treated include:
- Herniated and bulging discs
- Sciatica or nerve pain
- Degenerative Disc Disease
- Chronic pain
- Neck pain
- Facet joint syndrome
IDD is used in 1,000 clinics globally including the UK. Lots of research has gone into the making and use of the IDD machine and it is one of the safest techniques to help alleviate spinal conditions.
Ask your practitioner or any of the Bolton Spinal Health team about IDD and whether IDD would be beneficial for you.
