Hi, I am Lauren Donnellan. I am a chiropractor and have been for 4 years. I graduated the Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, and I moved to the UK around 3 years ago. I have qualifications in dry needling, as well as a BSc and MS degree in chiropractic.
As a kid I was really active, I played in track and field, baseball, touch rugby, and I competed at a National and International level. From this I had my fair share of injuries, and when I was 13, I visited a chiropractor for the first time. It was at that stage I realised how incredible chiropractic care is, I was intrigued and inspired by it all. Which led me to where I am now!
I am still really active, I love climbing and distance running, but I also love traveling and coffee tasting. I think it is fun to explore your hobbies and give everything a go, you never know what you could end up loving, and you don’t know till you try.
The human body is a complex thing, and I love learning more about it. One fact I love is that if you stretched out all the nerves in the human body it would be around 45 miles long! As a chiropractor the nerves are so important, from restoring function to helping better movement.
Working with people can really open your eyes, I am a keen observer, I love to support and involve people in their health journeys. If team sports have taught me anything, it is that watching people progress and having their lives improve is one of the best things, and it is a privilege to support guests with that.
