What is a Spinal Adjustment?

What is a Spinal Adjustment? And why should you get one?

A spinal adjustment, also known as a chiropractic adjustment. Is when trained chiropractors use their hands or a small instrument to apply a controlled, quick force to a spinal joint. The goal of this procedure is to improve spinal motion and improve your body’s physical function.

This is done for anyone with neck pain, back pain, headaches, and sciatica. These are the most common reasons people have chiropractic adjustments. Spinal adjustment allows for more freedom in movement, less aches, a reduction in headaches and joint pain.

There is a need for multiple spinal adjustments, as they are not a one time solution. Chiropractic is a process and not just a one-time event.

What do Spinal Adjustments do?

We use chiropractic adjustment to help remove tension, increase more fluid movements of the joints, increase muscle movement, remove stiffness and to take pressure of nerves..

Spinal adjustments are used to help our guests improve their function. There is a need for multiple sessions of spinal adjustment to help reverse any issues and allow your body to function at an optimal level.

From just a few weeks of sessions you can find changes within yourself. In addition to this you could be sleeping better, you could have better posture, you could be able to turn your head and neck more than you were able to prior. There are a lot of benefits to a chiropractic adjustment.

You should get a chiropractic adjustment, at the start of treatment it is common to have an adjustment a couple of times a week, and as you heal this becomes once or twice a month.

However, if you are pain free and just wanting to maintain a healthy lifestyle you may wish to have an adjustment once or twice a month. To maintain a healthy body and mind, a chiropractic adjustment might be just what you need.
